Terms & Conditions of Service/Repair

A minimum fee of $165 including GST* (being our standard rate for laboratory equipment repair) is chargeable for all non-warranty work. This rate is inclusive of a call-out fee and the initial first hour of labour. This minimum fee also applies to jobs where no fault is found, where faults are due to incorrect configuration of equipment by the customer, or jobs that do not subsequently go ahead after inspection and quotation by our Service Technician.

Warranty will only be considered after full evaluation by our Service Technician and terms specified by our suppliers.

Freight and insurance for transport of instruments to and from our service department are at the customer’s responsibility or risk.

WATTEC Pty Ltd guarantees all service/repairs for a period of 3 months.
